Course Description
This comprehensive Nurse's Aide Program was created to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to obtain an entry-level position as a Nurse's Aide in a health care facility. The training program will provide the student with both basic knowledge and practical experience in the terminology, procedures, and techniques required of a Nurse's Aide. This training program meets the Connecticut Department of Health Services guideline for eligibility to take the State certification exam for Nurse's Aides.

This course is divided into two parts: on-site courses and clinical experience. Fifity-five (55) hours of the course are taught in a classroom setting at 3885 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT 06606. Forty-five (45) hours are spent in one of our clinical sites. Students will be exposed to varied patient population, many types of medical equipment, and to professionals in the health field, which will provide a strong foundation for entering the Nurse's Aide profession.
